As one of its annual flagship programmes, the Institute of Applied Science and Technology, University of Ghana is organizing its 7th Industry-Academia Interaction Series (IAIS). The interactions series provides a platform for industry and the University of Ghana research community to interact and develop collaborations that are relevant to industrial and national interests.

The 7th edition of the IAIS which is being organized under the theme "Sustainable Energy Transitions and Climate Change : The Role of Partnerships" will involve presentations and panel discussions from industry players, academia and government, particularlly from the Energy sector. The seminar will explore the pressing need for sustainable energy solutions in the face of climate change challenges and the role of innovation in building a greener future.

The main speakers for the event are:

• Nana Osei Bonsu (CEO, Private Enterprise Federation)
• Mr. Wisdom Ahiataku- Togobo (Former Director, Renewables, Bui Power Authority)
• Mr. Joseph Essandoh-Yeddu  (Former Director, Strategic Planning and Policy, Energy Commission, Ghana)
