The Institute of Applied Science and Technology is organising a one-month intensive training/capacity building workshop on Greenhouse Vegetable Production. 

Course Objective

The course is designed to train and groom greenhouse growers/ farmers, extensionists, beginners and hobbyist to adopt an advanced and comfortable farming technology which is also suitable for urban spaces. At the end of the training, participants are expected to gain knowledge and skills and should be able to grow and manage vegetable enterprises in protected/ controlled farm spaces.

Module 1: Greenhouse Crop Production

Module 2: Plant Protection/Biosecurity

Module 3: Pest and Disease Management

Module 4: Post-harvest Technology

Module 5: Farming as a Business

Participation fee: GHC 2,000.00
