University of Ghana-Nelson Mandela University Digital Ubuntu: Cybersecurity/AI Pan African Student Workshop 

The 2026 Digital Ubuntu: Cybersecurity/AI Pan-African Student Workshop is being organized by the Institute of Applied Science and Technology, University of Ghana, in partnership with the Nelson Mandela University Africa Hub, Nelson Mandela University.

The workshop is designed to bring students and stakeholders from both universities together to:

• Understand how cybersecurity and AI are shaping Africa's digital platform
• Identify entrepreneurship and research opportunities in AI
• Build networks with students and academics across Africa
• Apply Ubuntu principles to ethical technology development
• Recognize cybersecurity risks and protective measures
   

The workshop is scheduled as follows:

        Date:    16th and 17th July, 2026
       Venue:  WACCBIP Conference room (Department of Biochemistry)
